Terms of Service
1. Purpose
These Terms of Service govern the conditions and procedures for using the multiplayer game service provided by SlitherMap (the "Service"), as well as the rights and obligations between users and the Service.
2. Eligibility
- The Service is free to play. Some virtual items are sold as optional paid purchases.
- Users under the age of 14 may only create an account with the consent of a legal guardian (parent, etc.). Guest mode is available without age restriction.
- It is prohibited to register using another person's personal information.
- Accounts can only be created through the metagrid1 unified account, operated by the same company as this Service. Guest mode is available without an account.
3. Service Description
The Service provides the following.
- Real-time multiplayer worm territory conquest game
- Global player ranking system (daily, weekly, monthly, all-time)
- Guest and registered account-based play
- Chat features (global, country-based, in-game)
- Optional paid virtual items (crystals, skins, boosters, consumables)
4. Purchases and Payments
Paid items in the Service are sold on the following terms.
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Xsolla (USA), Inc., which is the Merchant of Record for all purchases and handles billing, tax and payment-related customer service.
- All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and do not include sales tax or VAT. Any applicable tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your billing country.
- Crystals are credited to your account immediately after payment is confirmed. Nothing is shipped; there is no physical product.
- A registered account is required to purchase. Guest accounts cannot make purchases.
- If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may purchase only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
5. Crystals and Virtual Items
Crystals are a virtual currency that can be used only inside the Service.
- Crystals have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred, sold or given to another user.
- Crystals and the items bought with them are a limited, personal, revocable licence to use them inside the Service — they are not property that you own.
- Boosters are time-limited and expire 30 days after purchase. Consumables are single-use: they are granted as a quantity, are used up one at a time when activated, and any unused quantity does not expire. Skins do not expire for as long as the Service is operated.
- The Service may change the price, content or effect of an item, or stop selling it. Items you have already bought are not affected by a later price change.
- If you delete your account, any remaining crystal balance and purchased items are lost and cannot be restored.
- If the Service is discontinued, we will give notice at least 30 days in advance and stop selling crystals from the date of that notice.
- Your member account is linked to a metagrid1 unified account. If that unified account is deleted or suspended, you cannot sign in to this Service and cannot use your remaining crystals or purchased items for as long as that lasts.
6. Refunds and Cancellation
Refund conditions, the statutory right of withdrawal, and how to request a refund are set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Accounts and Security
- Members are responsible for managing their own account security.
- If account theft or unauthorized use occurs, you must report it to the Service immediately.
- Sharing or transferring your account to another person is prohibited.
- Guest accounts are not guaranteed permanent storage and may be deleted after 30 days of inactivity.
- The password and authentication methods for your member account are managed by the metagrid1 unified account. Change or reset your password and recover your account on metagrid1.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not engage in the following conduct.
- Manipulating the game using cheats, auto programs, bots, or other abnormal means
- Overloading the server or intentionally disrupting the Service
- Harassing other users or making hate speech
- Unauthorized collection or reproduction of the Service's source code, algorithms, or data
- Providing false information or impersonating another person
- Any conduct that violates applicable law
If a violation is confirmed, accounts may be suspended or permanently deleted without prior notice.
9. Intellectual Property
All copyrights and intellectual property rights in the Service's game design, software, logos, graphics, and other content belong to SlitherMap. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or modify content provided by the Service for purposes other than using the Service.
10. Disclaimer
- The Service is not liable for service interruptions due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, server failures, or network issues.
- Game records for guest accounts are not guaranteed permanent preservation, and the Service is not liable for data loss.
- The Service is not liable for damages arising from disputes between users.
11. Service Changes and Suspension
The Service may change or suspend its content as needed for operational or technical reasons. We will endeavor to provide advance notice of significant changes or suspension.
12. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be changed due to changes in Service policy or applicable law. Revised Terms take effect 7 days after notice is given. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. In the event of a dispute between the Service and a user, the courts of the Republic of Korea shall have jurisdiction.
This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
