SlitherMap (the "Service") values your personal information and complies with applicable privacy laws and regulations. This policy describes the information the Service collects, the purposes for collection, retention periods, and your rights.
2. Personal Information We Collect
On registration (metagrid1 unified account)
Accounts are created only through the metagrid1 unified account, which is operated by the same company as this Service. At sign-up we receive and store the following from that account.
- Email address and whether it has been verified
- Nickname
- Nationality (ISO 3166-1 country code) and language preference
- Unified account identifier (used to link the accounts)
Your password is managed by the metagrid1 unified account and is not stored by this Service. Accounts created by email before the unified account was introduced (August 2026) still hold a bcrypt one-way hash of the password.
For guest use
- Temporary UUID (for session identification; not personally identifiable)
- Browser Accept-Language header (used to temporarily estimate nationality)
Automatically collected during use
- Game scores and ranking records
- Connection IP address and the approximate country inferred from it (for server logs and security, for blocking unsupported regions, and for per-country visit statistics). The visit statistics count only the number of visitors per country and do not store IP addresses.
- Browser type and OS information
- Cookies and session tokens (for authentication)
- Crystal top-up and spending records
- Chat messages and the time they were sent
3. Purpose of Collection and Use
- User identification and authentication service provision
- Maintaining game scores and ranking records
- Prevention of abuse and maintaining security
- Statistical analysis for service improvement
4. Retention Period
Member information:
Deleted immediately upon account withdrawal (except for the crystal transaction records below and where applicable law requires retention)
Guest accounts:
Automatically deleted 30 days after last access
Server access logs:
Retained for 90 days and then destroyed
Crystal transaction records:
Retained for 3 months after account withdrawal to handle payments, refunds and disputes, then automatically destroyed. Retained items: email address, nickname and crystal transaction history.
Chat records:
Retained for 90 days to handle reports and apply chat restrictions, then automatically destroyed.
5. Third-Party Services and Cookies
The Service uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy.
Google Analytics (Google LLC)
Used to collect site visit statistics. Google collects visitor behavior data via cookies, and the collected information is processed under Google's Privacy Policy. Google Analytics Opt-out Tool
Google AdSense (Google LLC)
Used to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to show ads tailored to your interests. Ad cookie settings can be managed at Google Ad Settings .
Xsolla (USA), Inc.
Used to process payments. Xsolla is the Merchant of Record for purchases and independently collects the billing name, email address, billing address and country, and the payment details needed to complete the order and to meet tax and accounting obligations. 6. Sharing with Third Parties
Except for the third-party services listed in Section 5 above (Google and Xsolla), the Service does not provide personal information to third parties without your consent. Exceptions apply when required by law enforcement agencies under applicable law.
7. Your Rights
You may exercise the following rights at any time.
- Request access to your personal information
- Request correction or deletion of personal information (including account withdrawal)
- Request suspension of personal information processing
You may exercise these rights directly on the profile page within the Service, or contact us at the address below and we will assist you.
Deleting your SlitherMap account does not delete your metagrid1 unified account. To change or delete the unified account itself, use metagrid1.

9. Policy Changes
